Great win today in a super atmosphere...
To lay anything on the defense is just not being at the game at all...when you defense picks 4 passes and forces two more fumbles isn't bad...also they stepped up when they had to.
When the game was 28-14, it was a bad offensive snap that game Georgetown a very short field that led to the third touchdown. Also a dropped Cavs pass would have sealed the game much sooner and make it much different.
Georgetown also ran 30 more offensive plays and had the ball over 13 minutes than UVa-Wise...any defense that has to be on the field for pretty much a whole quarter more and does what they did is a good job.
It was a great win after the long road loss last week...oh and last time I checked Lambuth was not just beating but taking another NCAA DII team to the woodshed as it was up 44-9 on West Alabama.
Another tough one next week too as Campbellsville defeated #10 Shorter College on Thursday night.
